Dr. Ames to Full Professor

Dr. Dan Ames was recently awarded Continuing Faculty Status and advancement to the rank of Full Professor during the university’s most recent rank and status review process. A graduate of Utah State University, Dr. Ames has taught at BYU since 2012; prior to which he taught at Idaho State University beginning in 2004. Dr. Ames teaches courses in GIS, programming, geomatics, and hydroinformatics. Dr. Ames also leads an annual water resources study abroad program to Europe and directs undergraduate and graduate research in the Hydroinformatics Lab (Clyde 375).
