Provo City Engineering Intern (Engineering Division)

Provo City Engineering Intern (Water Resources Division)

The Provo City Water Resources Division is recruiting for an intern position. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with Civil Engineers in charge of municipal water and sewer systems including wastewater treatment.

This is an engineering support internship in the Water Resources Division of the Provo City Public Works Department. The individual appointed to this position will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of interesting projects related to planning, design, and maintaining the City’s water and wastewater systems. 

Jordan Valley Water Internship

Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to perform design, drafting, and construction inspection of waterworks projects. The intern may also provide assistance with right-of-way acquisition, hydraulic modeling, courier duties, data entry, and perform other special assignments as needed. 

Utah Department of Transportation, Temp Summer Internship

This position is for a temporary summer internship in a lab that does ASTM testing on soils, aggregates, asphalt and concrete to determine suitability for use in highway construction.  The lab is physically located in SPANISH FORK.   The intern will help in conducting sieve analysis, proctors, theoretical density tests, mass and composition analysis, etc.  Prior knowledge of these testing procedures is not required.

Redwood Engineering, Structural Engineering Internship

Structural Engineering internship position available in Orem, UT. Learn valuable engineering skills while working in a great environment. Perform calculations using wood, steel, concrete, masonry and other building materials for residential and commercial structures.

Applicants will receive $1200/year (pro-rated) for each year they work with Redwood Engineering (i.e. an intern working for two years will receive $2400). Upon graduating with a degree from an accredited college they will receive the Graduation Bonus. This bonus is in addition to a yearly performance bonus.

EPA's MOVES Team, Research Training Opportunity

EPA's MOVES team has posted a research training opportunity to work on vehicle emissions modeling within the Air Quality Modeling Center at the US EPA Office of Transportation and Air Quality in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  The position is available through the ORISE program for current and recent graduates. Participants can renew for up to 4-5 years based on performance and available funding.

We are targeting a recent master's or doctorate graduate in a relevant field.
