United States Public Health Service (USPHS) Commissioned Corps

The USPHS Commissioned Corps is a uniformed service of the United States.  Opportunities often include serving underserved Indian populations with water and sanitation services or in health facility construction and management. 


Students are paid a salary in addition to receiving other allowances.  Other benefits include paid healthcare coverage and annual leave of 2.5 days/month.  Opportunities are available throughout the United States, but typically more prevalent in the western U.S.


Idaho Power Company

My name is James Peterson and I graduated with a MS in Civil Engineering back in 2012. I am currently working for Idaho Power Company in Boise. The Company will be hiring a summer civil engineering intern for 2016.
