Recap of the Year:

Students attended class for 3 weeks and were exposed to a variety of topics including: the design process, designing for manufacturing, and designing for human variability. Throughout the 3 week program, students collaborated on international design teams and developed a product for use in Singaporean Urban Farming. Several trips to design firms were also made during the duration of the program. Among these firms were IDEO, HP-Singapore, Zircon, and Xentiq. These visits served to educate students on the role of product design and further broaden the understanding of the design process in general.
