The US Public Health Service has a need for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial engineer students from ABET accredited schools for their summer extern program.
The Commissioned Officer Student Training and Extern Program (COSTEP) is an opportunity for students to work for the federal government in the summer and gain engineering experience, and to see what the Public Health Service is without any obligation.
Attached is a flyer with some of the qualifications The US Public Service is looking for, as well as a timeline of the process of becoming a COSTEP. The date for contacting the US Public Service ends November 4, 2016.
