Below are a few sites that provide information regarding the summer internship program that is offered by the US Public Health Service.
Attached is the information about how a student begins the application process. The application process closes Nov. 4th.
Interns need to have:
- At least 2 years of study in a professionally accredited baccalaureate program in engineering (civil, environmental, mechanical, or electrical)
- Be enrolled full-time in a degree program, accredited to specific professional discipline. (after internship you need to return to school in that same program)
- The positions are paid
- The positions are typically between 60-120 days
- Students are assigned positions based on availability and location preference.
