This is a non-benefited position responsible for assisting full time engineering personnel in performing specific tasks related to data collection, GPS, construction inspection, engineering design, and miscellaneous Engineering projects. Performs other duties as assigned.
Must be pursuing a degree in civil engineering or a related field. Requires a valid driver’s license and must have a good driving record. Requires knowledge of CAD, GIS, and spreadsheets. Ability to work outdoors year round required. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with supervisors and other employees.
Approximately 20 hours per week with the potential of 40 hours per week during the summer months. It is anticipated that this internship will start on or after May 1, 2017, and last up to 6 months from date of hire. (*Please note that the start date on the attached flyer is posted as August 1, 2016, but the correct date is May 1, 2017)
