ODOT Multimodal Transportation Engineer (Portland,OR)

Located in Portland, the ODOT Region 1 Technical Center is responsible for regional planning, project delivery and maintenance, and implementing programs initiated through the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP). We are recruiting for a multimodal transportation engineer to develop project alternatives during planning efforts for STIP development.

However, we encourage candidates who meet the minimum qualifications for an associate in engineering 2 ($4194 to $6194/month) to apply, as we may consider under-filling the position until the selected candidate meets the minimum qualifications for an associate in engineering 2. Under-fill training will not exceed three years. 

Minimum Qualifications - Professional Engineer 1:
A valid professional engineer's (PE) license in civil, structural, or transportation-related engineering.

Minimum Qualification - Associate in Engineering 2:

Completion of and passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and one year of experience applying professional engineering theory, principles and methods.
