GHID (Granger-Hunter Improvement District) Staff Engineer

Granger-Hunter Improvement District is seeking a Staff Engineer for full-time employment. The position will perform the duties of a Project Manager, including developing scopes for projects, designing them or hiring consultants, bidding projects and performing construction management duties. The position will also perform some CAD design and hydraulic analysis.

To qualify for this position, an applicant will possess 2-4 years of experience in the water/waste water field, an EIT certification and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering. The ideal candidate will possess a Utah Professional Engineer certification or be within 1-2 years of obtaining it, and a Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

The applicant must demonstrate ownership in the GHID safety culture and demonstrate safety leadership by promoting and facilitating the safety of co-workers and the general public. The applicant must perform all job tasks in compliance with GHID safety policies and procedures.
